CHEMISTRY SECTOR PROGRAMS
Chemicals expose multiple threats and dangers both during manufacture and both during distribution and usage stages. These risks exposed may cause nonrecoverable hazards on environment, occupational safety and human health, and therefore minimization or complete elimination of such risks are defined and managed by national and international regulations.
TÜV AUSTRIA, along with the accrediation it has been given by TÜRKAK, provides trainings, examinations and certification operations regarding all risk inclusive stages such as physicochemical properties, manufacture processes, importing and transprotation of chemicals.
SECTOR SCOPES
CHEMICAL ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST (CAS)
Chemical Safety Assessment, Chemical Safety Report and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) are carried out and prepared by Chemical Assessment Specialist (CAS). This assessment provides sufficient control over the risks caused by manufactured or imported goods by producers or importers during the production phase or during their self usage and states amount of control of how much these mentioned risks could be assessed and documented by other parties involved in the supply chain.
Chemical Assessment Specialist evaluates the following and carries out the Chemical Safety Report in accordance with The Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals.

- Physico-chemical harmfullness
- Environmental harmfullness assessment
- PVT vPvB assessment
- Exposure assessment
- Risk characterization
TÜV Austria Personnel Certification Co.Ltd. has been recognized as a training constitution by the permission given by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on 9th February 2018.

SAFETY DATA SHEET (SDS) AUTHOR
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are documents that provide information about physico-chemical properties of hazardous chemicals as well as their effects on health, environment and occupational safety. The contents of an SDS contains data such as; identity of the related substance or mixture, its impact on human health and physico-chemical hazards, storage and handling measures related to the product, emergency procedures and disposal assessments.
TÜV AUSTRIA Personnel Certification Co.Ltd. is currently proceeding with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Author Trainings and Examinations given under the scope of ‘‘Regulation on Safety Data Sheets Regarding Hazardous Substances and Mixtures’’ issued by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment and Urbanization with number 29204 on 13.12.2014
